To ensure smooth scheduling and fair use of tutoring time, the following policies apply to all students. These policies apply equally to both the tutor and the client.
Tutor Responsibility:
I take responsibility for all scheduled sessions and will always communicate any changes in advance whenever possible. In the event of an emergency on my end, the session will be rescheduled at the earliest available time or refunded upon request.
Days Off/Vacation Request Policy:
Planned vacations or time-off requests must be communicated via email or text at least 24 hours in advance.
Earlier notice is appreciated and allows for better session planning.
With proper notice and prior payment, the session may be rescheduled or credited toward a future session.
Cancellations/Sick Calls:
For illness or unforeseen circumstances from either party, a minimum of 4–6 hours’ notice is required.
Sessions cancelled with appropriate notice will be rescheduled within 1–2 weeks, subject to availability.
Late or Same-Day Cancellations:
Same-day or last-minute cancellations are subject to a full session charge.
For monthly packages, this will result in one session being deducted.
No-shows are considered same-day cancellations.
24-Hour Notice (Non-Emergency):
If a session is cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice, the session may be rescheduled or credited, provided payment has been made.
Statutory Holidays:
Tutoring sessions are conducted on statutory holidays unless a request for time off is communicated in advance. As families observe different cultural and religious calendars, please notify me ahead of time if you wish to skip a statutory holiday session.
