Being a student that was always weak in math, didn’t improve till I entered high school and that was when Bhairvi started tutoring me. When Bhairvi became my tutor, I started learning better because she did not tell me to memorize formulas like what teachers expect students to do, she in fact taught the concepts and showed the steps on how this formal came to be. Before starting homework, Bhairvi always goes over the concepts and asks questions along the way to make sure we are grasping the concept. She also provides students with multiples ways on how to approach a question, which allows the students to choose the path that they feel the most comfortable with. Most importantly, Bhairvi cares! She always asks on how the students assessments are going as if there is still something unclear to the student, she will keep revisiting that area. As a result, I in fact love math now and got a 100% grade point average in grade 10 Pre-AP Math.
